Tributes

Throughout our more than twenty-year history, we have had the pleasure of collaborating with and interacting with several people who have left their mark and whom we would like to honor.

First and foremost, we highlight José Alvarez Cavalleri Martinho. The late father of the founding partner, he supported us in the company's early days, and it is his teachings and values that guide our strategy and customer relationships.

In our academic training and IT mentoring, there were two teachers without whom we would never have developed the technical and analytical capabilities we apply every day in the design and development of solutions for our clients. Thank you, Pedro Roovers de Avelar. Thank you, Luis Marianito Bizarra.

Thanks also to Nai. At a time when the Portuguese authorities forced us to search for a meaning for the acronym Io (a designation we stubbornly wanted to adopt), it was Manuel who suggested Inteligência Orgânica. This Portuguese expression translates as Organic Intelligence. It's a name that accurately captures everything we have to offer.

The image and logo were created by someone very special, for whom we will never have enough words to thank or enough praise to laud. Rui Chasqueira was much more than a founding partner of C ao Quadrado. A longtime friend and partner in numerous projects, for his creativity and human qualities, he will always be in our memories and hearts. The layout of this website is a simple tribute to Rui, as it is the result of sketches exchanged with him before his untimely departure. Thank you, Rui. You will be forever missed.
